Young girls take a beaty course at Herman's Institute, a beauty school in Caracas. Girls enter beauty pageants as toddlers and young women and men get plastic surgery as teens. Modeling Academies, or what we may call "Beauty Schools", claim to teach girls how to be a women in Venezuela. Girls as young as 5 enroll in these academies and take classes such as etiquette, runway walking, photo posing, oratory and makeup.
